New Season

Monymusk are pleased to announce that they will have a new management team in place for season 2008 - 2009.
George Mackie (ex-West Garioch & Burghmuir) will take over team affairs from Colin Beaton who has decided to take a less active role due to ever increasing work commitments. George will be assisted by Asher Mathers who has a long association with Monymusk.

We are also delighted to announce 3 major sponsorship deals that will last for 3 years from season 2008 - 2009.

e-blast will be our new shirt sponsor, replacing Collie + Duthie who have been a very loyal sponsor for us. This is the 2nd shirt deal we've had with e-blast and the football club would like to express our thanks for their continued support.

An ex-player, Mr Alan Alexander, has kindly offered to sponsor our team warm up tops for the next 3 years. Alan runs his own business in Aberdeen, Granite City Plastering & Tiling Services, and has been a huge backer of the football club since injury forced him to hang up his boots.

Finally, a current squad member Mr Alan Findlater, has kindly offered to sponsor our kit bags. Alan runs his own firm of Painters & Interior Designers in Banchory, A. Finnie Ltd, and is not only a valuable member of the playing squad but someone who is always on hand to sponsor us and attend all our fundraising events.

The 2008 - 2009 season begins on Saturday 02 August and we're currently invloved in pre-season training & friendlies in preparation for the big kick off.

The sweeper has started again, tickets can be purchased from the Shop & The Grant Arms. There were no winners last week so this weeks prize stands at £150. Good Luck!

Regards,

Gordon James Hay
