Thinking Of Moving
Hi folks,
My girlfriend and I have been looking to move out of Aberdeen and to somewhere more relaxing. We have visited a few places and Monymusk was easily our favourite so far. I was wondering if anyone else here worked in Aberdeen as we were curious as to how long the daily commute would be? We have been looking at places down the coast off the A90 for ease but to be honest Monymusk just feels like the right place for us and we would be willing to put up with some extra hassle on a daily basis.
Thanks for your help

I'
ve been in this area for a year now and it'
s highly recommended! The trip is very straightforward commuting to and from Aberdeen, takes you 25- 30 minutes the most.
I commute 4x a day by car going to Aberdeen for my work and there'
s no hassle whatsoever going back and forth.
As an alternative, you can also take the Stagecoach bus, which goes to Alford every day.
Welcome to Monymusk!! You will love this place!!

Thank you very much for the reply, I think if I get into my work for 6 am I can get across town and onto the South Deeside road before the traffic really gets bad as I work in Altens.
Not got anything yet but we are viewing another house on Friday in the area and we hope to be able to make a move to idyllic bliss before too much longer!
